Prime House Flooring was founded on a simple idea: flooring should be treated as a craft, not an add-on. After a decade of installing, refinishing and repairing floors across Connecticut and New York, we saw the same pattern: clients wanted a contractor who actually specializes in what they do best.
We work with homeowners, property managers, general contractors, interior designers and business owners from weekend home refreshes to full commercial refinishing schedules. Every project starts with an on-site visit, so scope, materials and cost are based on the real space.

A 1920s colonial with cupped, sun-faded boards. We moisture-tested the slab and subfloor, sanded with a dust-containment system, spot-repaired 40+ boards and applied a low-VOC waterborne finish so the family could stay in the house through the work.
