TERMS OF SERVICE

The rules that apply when you use this website

This website is here to help you learn about our flooring services and request an estimate. Browsing, calling or submitting the form does not create a job contract. Scope, price, schedule and warranty are set only in a written proposal that both sides accept.

Last updated: August 23, 2026.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Prime House Flooring website at primehouseflooring.com, including city and service pages, forms, maps, gallery, reviews and related content. They also explain how a website visit or estimate request relates to actual flooring work. By using this website, requesting an estimate or communicating with us about a project, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Prime House Flooring (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a flooring contractor based at 89 Pemberwick Road, 2nd Floor, Greenwich, CT 06831. We serve residential, commercial and rental / multi-unit properties in the New York Tri-State Area, including Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. You can reach us at (914) 535-9704 or info@primehouseflooring.com. Our typical hours are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. If that URL changes, use the Privacy Policy link in the website footer.

What these Terms cover

These Terms cover use of the public website and the way information on the site should be read. They are not a substitute for a written proposal, work order or service agreement. If you hire us, the signed or otherwise accepted written proposal controls the job. If there is a conflict between marketing copy on this website and that written document, the written document wins for that project.

Services described on this website

We provide hardwood floor installation, hardwood floor refinishing, hardwood floor repair and infill, tile installation, vinyl installation and laminate installation. Location pages describe those services in specific cities. Service-area copy is general information about where we commonly work. Listing a city does not guarantee that every address in that city can be scheduled on a given date, or that every building condition is a fit for a particular product.

If you are not sure which service you need, you may select “Not Sure — Need Assessment” on the estimate form. That request is an invitation for us to discuss the property. It is not a diagnosis, a price or a commitment to perform work.

Using the website

You may use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm the site, other visitors or our business. You agree not to:

  • Copy, scrape or republish substantial portions of the site without our written permission.
  • Interfere with forms, security tools, reCAPTCHA or hosting.
  • Submit false names, phone numbers or project details in order to harass staff or waste a site visit.
  • Upload malware or attempt to access accounts, files or systems you do not own.
  • Use the site to send spam or to collect contact details of other visitors.

We may suspend access, ignore abusive requests or involve law enforcement if we reasonably believe the site is being misused.

Accuracy of website content

We work to keep service descriptions, city pages, photos and contact details current. Flooring products, methods and availability change. Subfloor conditions, moisture, existing finishes and building access vary from property to property. Information on this website is general and may not match the conditions inside your home or commercial space. Do not rely on a page, a gallery photo or a map embed as a specification, code approval or moisture reading.

Typographical errors, outdated photos or city-page copy can occur. We may correct them at any time without notice. If something on a page looks wrong for your property, tell us when you request the estimate.

Estimates, proposals and contracts

Submitting the Request an Estimate form, calling, texting or emailing us does not create a binding contract, reserved calendar date or guaranteed price. Website content does not constitute a bid, warranty or offer that you can accept by clicking a button.

A project becomes a job only when Prime House Flooring and the customer accept a written proposal or service agreement that states the scope, materials, price, schedule, payment terms and any warranty that applies. Until then, either side may decline to proceed. We aim to respond to complete requests within one business day during posted hours, but response time is not a contractual deadline.

What an estimate depends on

Pricing and scope usually require a look at the property. Square footage on a listing, a photo sent by phone or a measurement you provide can be a starting point, not a final quantity. Hidden damage, moisture, uneven subfloors, stairs, furniture, pets, occupied rooms, after-hours access, parking, material lead times and product substitutions can change the work. If conditions differ from what we were told, we may revise the proposal before or during the job. Additional work is performed only with your approval, except for immediate steps needed to protect the property or meet a safety requirement.

Site visits, access and preparation

If we schedule a visit, you agree to provide reasonable access to the work area, utilities needed for inspection or installation, and accurate information about occupants, alarms, parking and building rules. You are responsible for moving furniture, breakables and personal items unless the written proposal says we will handle that. Pets should be secured. We are not responsible for damage to items left in the work path or for delays caused by locked rooms, missing keys or building restrictions that were not disclosed.

You represent that you have authority to approve work at the property — as owner, authorized tenant, property manager or agent. If that is not true, you are responsible for the cost of the visit and any work performed in good-faith reliance on your request.

Materials, manufacturers and job-site conditions

Hardwood, tile, vinyl and laminate each have manufacturer instructions, acclimation needs and limitations. Laminate is not sandable hardwood and should not be treated as a waterproof wet-area system unless the specific product and assembly are approved for that use. Refinishing results depend on the existing species, prior coatings and repairs. We will discuss suitable options for the rooms you show us. Final product selections, stains, grouts and accessories should be confirmed in writing before we order or install.

Wood and other natural materials vary in grain, color and character. Samples and photos are examples, not a promise that every board or tile will match. Seasonal movement, sunlight, humidity, radiant heat and moisture from below can affect floors after installation. Those conditions are part of how floors behave, not automatically a defect in workmanship.

Scheduling

Start dates in a proposal are targets. Material deliveries, weather for related building work, other trades, illness and access issues can move a date. We will communicate changes as promptly as we reasonably can. If you postpone or are not ready on the agreed date, we may need to reschedule based on crew availability. Time lost to an unprepared site may be billed if the proposal allows it.

Payment

Payment amounts, deposits, progress draws and final balance are those stated in the written proposal. The website does not set a deposit percentage. Unpaid balances may pause remaining work. You are responsible for taxes, permit fees and building charges that apply to the property unless the proposal says otherwise. Do not send full payment-card numbers through the public estimate form.

Warranties

Any workmanship warranty we offer is only the warranty written in the accepted proposal or a separate warranty document we provide. Manufacturer warranties, if any, come from the product maker and depend on correct product choice, installation method and maintenance. This website’s general language about durable, high-quality results is marketing, not a warranty term.

Warranties typically do not cover damage from leaks, flooding, improper cleaning, pets, heels, moved appliances, other contractors, or failure to maintain indoor humidity within the range the product requires. Claims should be sent in writing to info@primehouseflooring.com with photos and the property address.

Photos, reviews and comments

You grant us a non-exclusive right to use non-confidential project photos as described in the Privacy Policy, subject to any permission we agree with you for identifiable interiors. Reviews and blog comments must be lawful and must not include others’ private information. We may remove content that is abusive, false or off-topic. Publishing a review on a third-party site is governed by that site’s terms.

Intellectual property

The Prime House Flooring name, logo, website design, original text, graphics and photos we own or license may not be copied, adapted or used to imply a partnership without our written permission. You may share a link to a public page. You may not republish city-page copy, service descriptions or gallery images as your own. Trademarks of product manufacturers remain those companies’ property.

Third-party tools and links

The site may include Google Maps, reCAPTCHA, analytics, advertising tags, review widgets and links to other websites. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability or data practices. Embedded maps are a convenience, not a survey of your lot line.

Disclaimer

The website is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Flooring advice on a web page is not a substitute for an on-site assessment, licensed design professional or building-code official where those are required.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Prime House Flooring and its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the website, including lost profits, lost data or the cost of substitute services. Our total liability related to website use shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). This limit does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under Connecticut or other applicable law, and it does not replace the remedies in an accepted project proposal for work actually performed.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prime House Flooring from claims, damages and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the website, your submission of false project information, or your lack of authority to approve work at the property you named — except to the extent caused by our own willful misconduct.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Connecticut shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from website use, except where a consumer-protection statute requires another venue. Project work may also be subject to the laws of the state where the property sits (Connecticut, New York or New Jersey) and to the dispute process in the written proposal.

Changes

We may update these Terms when our services, website or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised Terms for that use. Material changes to an active job are handled in writing on that job, not by a website edit alone.
